StarChat strictly prohibits the illegal trade of software (warez/pirated copyrighted material, mp3s, divx videos) and pornographic files on the network (you are unable to recieve or send files with this chat interface, you can only recieve text messages), and reserves the right to scan all connecting clients for open SOCKS and/or Wingates. Users that violate this StarChat Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) will be removed on a temporary or permanent basis depending on the nature of the offense.

You are doing nothing wrong by connecting you to this public free access server as long as we are not doing anything illegal (unless you are which if you are then disconnect right now), read the rest of their rules on http://www.starchat.net/aup.htm. We are simply helping out stpetesean of pozfriends (long time member of The HIV/AIDS Network) frivolous and tbby get some new members (their new pozchatroom is on starchat.net public server)! We are not affiliated with with POZfriends.net BTW (nor are they paying us to help them out, why we put some banners on page)...
We are happy to see a new room open wanting to be helpful with the POZcause, we will be great partners and we have newcomers to spare for your new group! Congrats, it's nice to know there is another good place for people to go when our network is experiencing technical problems...
